Canada Pavilion for EXPO 2010 Shanghai

The Pavilion will be anchored by an open public place and surrounded by three large structures. The Plaza will be a performance area, where visitors can watch the performances of Cirque du Soleil.

Canada also has realized environmental protection in the pavilion. Part of the exterior walls of the pavilion will be covered by a special type of vegetation and rainwater is being collected by a drainage system for use in the pavilion.

Corporate Pavilion Shanghai 2010 will be a green building

Its exterior will be constructed on the basis of transparent polycarbonate tubes obtained from recycled CD jewel cases, material that once the Expo 2010 will again be recycled. The building power is generated by a solar heating system pipes located on the roof with an area of 1,600 square meters. Expo 2010: Shanghai China Pavilion

The pavilion designed by Chinese architect Jingtang is in the central location of exposure to 63 meters high, triple the height of any other flag. The main structure of the China Pavilion, “Crown of this on,” has a distinctive roof of Dougong traditional or brackets, which has a history dating back over 2,000 years.
