How to make flowers to decorate
The flowers can give the final touch to the decor of your apartment. They serve to color spaces, plus a touch of fragrance and distincción. It is advisable to choose flowers in the area and season. For example, this time of year in Europe there are many tulips, narcissus, ranunculus, anemones and hyacinths. Can also be used to orchids. Avoid tropical plants such as bird of paradise (Strelitzia), amber cane, the heliconia or protea (if we live in America, the rule is the reverse). Also interesting is careful not to mix too many varieties – a large bouquet of wildflowers all of a class may be more attractive than a bouquet bought at a florestería that aims to include more varieties and flower colors. How to Cut the stems for a flower arrangement: cut about 2.5 cm from the stem (the woody stem, such as roses, should be cut diagonally to maximize the open surface water. Change water daily and cut them back every time that they change the water. It will last any longer.
Arrange bouquets: with a little skill, the idea is to put in hand to form a spiral so that each new stem is inclined at an angle compared to the previous. It is the way to form a beautiful ‘dome’. If you are not able to do so, simply supported on a surface and cut pro all the same length, then gather them and put them in a vase. They should be pretty good.
Where to put the flowers usually underestimate the value of container, when in fact it is so important, or more than flowers. You need a basic kit: a cylindrical vase with straight sides, about 80 x 15cm, for long-stemmed plants like lilies, amaryllis or gladilos, a square pot, which looks great on coffee tables, for Spring flowers quite cut it so that protrude just above the edge, a tank round that can be filled with a few flexible stems such as tulips, orchids or calla lilies (put the stem at 2.5 cm water and swirl the heads of the flowers around the inside of the glass to achieve a greater impact with less), a vase of about 10cm in the neck and wider at the bottom, ideal for any bunch of hands that we give away (do not cut strip that binds the branch until it is placed in the vase).

Keep the vase water clean: there is a little trick is to use sterilizing tablets. Put a quarter of a pill in a vase of normal size to keep the water clean and free of bacteria. This helps the plants last longer and not risk whatsoever. Heat causes earlier flowering and, therefore, wither before, so it should be stored in a cool place, away from radiators, last longer. Some floresterías sell a packet to put in the water and prolong the life of the flowers. If not your case, you can add a teaspoon of sugar.
Elegant and cheap: a good idea for a dinner, is to use many small individual pots (each with a single stem on the inside) and place them crowded into the center of the table. You can also use vases, small vases, candle holders, milk bottles, glass jars, etc.. Instead of throwing them away can be recycled for use as cups.
