The Kitchenette
By definition, was called to a small kitchenette area cooking in hotel rooms, motels, small apartments or office buildings. This was essentially a small refrigerator, microwave, mini oven and a small sink.

Although, as we said the kitchenette has an origin that is not strictly domestic, contain all the elements necessary to address the needs of a kitchen and have proliferated, becoming popular as an alternative to flats and houses of moderate size. Also, at a time when more people live alone, that we turn to food consumption choices and preparations, where the times at home are often minimal, for many are not comfortable nor necessary large kitchen facilities.

Currently, the term also applies to define kitchenette designs, some kitchen furnishings that address the needs of small spaces, such as chairs and tables that occupy little space when not in use and only when necessary despligan also some cabinets and furniture of similar characteristics, these tend to be modern furnishings and minimalist designs since the kitchenette is based on the notion of austerity and space saving.
